In 1980, after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Services from Mansfield University, Phyllis began her career in Early Childhood as Director of Covington Day Care. In 1992 she came to Head Start as Education Supervisor/Nutrition Coordinator. Phyllis's role has changed to strictly Education Supervisor. She is the mother of three adult daughters, all of which have followed her footsteps and gone into the Education field. Phyllis & her husband enjoy boating & spending time with their daughters & grandchildren.
