As part of their clothing curriculum study, Troy 2 children visited The Clothing Store at Hoover's Hardware on Canton St. in Troy, PA. The purpose of the trip was to learn how they could make a clothing store in their classroom’s dramatic play area.

During the visit, the children asked many questions. They learned about the different types of  clothing and accessories in the store – items for men, women and children. They learned how items are grouped by gender, size, color. And finally, how to display each item.

The teachers, staff and children of the Troy 2 classroom would like to give a BIG thank you to The Clothing Store employees, Pam, Amy and Sharon, for taking time out of their day to be tour guides. It means more than you know!
