TIOGA COUNTY FAIR FAMILY DAY SPONSORED BY  BRADFORD TIOGA HEAD START, INC.

Once again, Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc. (BTHS) sponsored the Tioga County Fair Family Day on August 8, 2017.  Many activities were offered to children under the Big Tent, including coloring their own canvas bags, bowling, digging for jewels, Bingo, tick-tack-toe, beanbag toss.

Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc. also coordinated the Pedal Tractor Pull and a musician, KJ Reimensnyder-Wagner from Lewisburg, who played her guitar and sang.   Four bikes were given away through a name draw as well as healthy snacks and beverages.

Heather McCarthy, representing Penn State University SNAP-Ed program, offered children the opportunity to create their own trail mix as well as identifying different types of fruits and vegetables.

A frozen t-shirt contest for children up to the age of 18 was one of the headline events. Contests simply had to unfold a frozen t-shirt, put it on and they were the winner!  Katies Koncrete from Middlebury Center, PA and Addison, NY, sponsored the Frozen T-shirt Contest.
